Hello there! I am an Italian software engineer now living in Berlin, Germany. Despite a non-traditional background in software engineering, I am now making my way into the field. I have some experience analysing AI systems' compliance with EU regulations, but mostly with database design (SQL/NoSQL) and the implementation of end-to-end data pipelines with Python. I have some frontend experience with HTML5/CSS and JS (vanilla and React Native).
Most of my backend work revolves around Python, building APIs, internal tools, and data apps. I am now gaining experience in C as well through 42 Berlin. Currently, I built a C library re-implementing from scratch C functions for string and list manipulation.
I built and maintained instances of both SQL and noSQL databases - specifically mySQL and DynamoDB - using ORMs rather extensively.
